It was such an honour to work with this Husband and Wife to create a piece of anniversary jewellery “just because” they had been married for 70’s years!
Personal Design…
Beral had worked in the fashion industry so style and colours were super important. She wanted a dress ring with a blue stone to sit alongside her wardrobe. Blues being her go to colour I suggested Tanzanite which has a trichroic coloration quality which means it changes colour from violet to blue from different angles. Also a fan of my signature style we decided to simply use the Rac Ric ring adding a showstopper Tanzanite.

I curated a selection of Tanzanites in different shapes and they decided on this elegant oval due to her slim fingers. The designing started with me playing with Ric Rac pattern. I like to share these brainstorming pages with clients so they can have consent input. She spotted the Ric Rac dotted with diamonds and fell in love so I designed the final ring.
Ric Rac Dress Ring…
We created the design in CAD so Beral could try it on as a green printout (above) for size before it was cast and hand crafted. Made in 100% recycled 18ct yellow gold with a 1.27ct AAA quality Tanzanite claw set and 12 brilliant Diamonds dotted around the Ric Rac wave.
